MacroMaster Pro

Complete guide to recording, playing back, and automating your workflows with MacroMaster Pro v2.

What is MacroMaster Pro?

Step 03
Press F8 to Stop

Press F8 again to stop recording. Your macro is saved and ready to replay.

Step 04
Press F5 to Play

Press F5 and MacroMaster Pro will replay everything you recorded — exactly as you did it.

Recording

MacroMaster Pro captures every mouse movement, click, scroll, and keypress during a recording session.

How to Record

  • Press F8 or click the Record button in the app
  • A 3-second countdown gives you time to switch to the target application
  • Perform all the actions you want to automate
  • Press F8 again to stop — your macro is ready
Tip: The status indicator turns red while recording. Always check it before starting your actions to make sure recording is active.

What gets recorded

  • Mouse clicks (left, right, middle button)
  • Mouse movement and position
  • Mouse scrolling
  • All keyboard key presses and releases
  • Timing between actions (replayed at your chosen speed)

Playback

After recording, press F5 or click the Play button to replay your macro.

Playback behaviour

  • A configurable countdown starts before playback begins
  • The macro replays from the exact same starting position
  • Press F5 again at any time to stop playback
  • When repeat count is set, the macro runs that many times then stops automatically
Tip: Position your mouse where the first action starts before pressing F5 — MacroMaster Pro will replay from there.

Speed Control

Adjust how fast or slow your macro replays using the speed slider.

SpeedBehaviourUse case
0.1×Very slow — 10× slower than recordedDebugging or precise timing
0.5×Half speedSlower applications
1.0×Normal — exactly as recordedDefault for most use cases
2.0×Double speedSpeed up repetitive tasks
5.0×5× faster than recordedMaximum speed tasks
Note: Very high speeds may cause missed clicks on slower computers. If actions are being skipped, reduce the playback speed.

Repeat & Loop

Set how many times your macro repeats, or enable infinite loop mode.

  • Set a specific number in the Repeat Count field (e.g. 10 = run 10 times)
  • Set to 0 for infinite loop — runs until you press F5 to stop
  • The countdown delay applies before every repeat cycle
Infinite loop tip: Always keep your hand near the keyboard when running in infinite mode so you can press F5 to stop at any time.

Hotkeys

MacroMaster Pro is designed to be controlled from the keyboard — so you never need to switch back to the app window.

KeyAction
F8Start recording — press again to stop recording
F5Start playback — press again to stop playback
Note: F8 and F5 are global hotkeys — they work even when MacroMaster Pro is minimized or behind another window.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MacroMaster Pro really free?

Yes — completely free. No hidden costs, no premium version, no account required. Download and use forever.

Does it work with any application?

Yes. MacroMaster Pro records at the Windows level — it works with any application including browsers, games, office software, desktop apps, and more.

My antivirus flagged the file — is it safe?

Yes, it is safe. Some antivirus programs flag automation tools because they interact with mouse and keyboard at a system level — this is the same reason screen recorders and remote desktop tools sometimes get flagged. The software is built by Bytlify and contains no malware.

Can I save my recorded macros?

MacroMaster Pro v2 holds your most recent recording in memory. Closing the app will clear it. Save & load functionality is planned for a future update.

The macro plays in the wrong position — why?

This usually happens when screen resolution or window size changes between recording and playback. Record and play back at the same screen resolution for best results.

How do I stop an infinite loop?

Press F5 at any time to immediately stop playback.
